Looking for something to do at the mall in which the theatre is located, we spotted a "dance club," which, it should be noted since it's in the state of Gujarat, is a "dry" club. Figuring we would give it a shot, we headed in, only to find that we had accidentally crashed a 19 year old kid's birthday party. They didn't seem to mind in the slightest, though, as they welcomed us in and offered us free drinks. Being a dry club, what kind of non-alcoholc drinks were served?
Drink one was a lasse drink ('cause who wouldn't want to dance around crazily after downing a whole bunch of liquified, sweetened curd)?
Drink two was a super-sweet drink that tasted like a combination of blue gatorade and sprite (perhaps with extra sugar thrown in).
Despite feeling a bit bad for coming (very much) uninvited, they seemed to love us, and they taught us their dance moves, including one song, which, for some strange reason, led to a balloon popping rampage. They liked us so much they even invited us to the after party -- we declined, but sang happy birthday before we left.
